The renewed frame has a modified Ai rear fork, making the entire drive line 6mm further to the outside. The advantage of this is that the wheel no longer needs to be spooled and finally a stiffer whole is created. The following advantage is that there is more space between belt and crank due to this intervention. This has the advantage that more "mudclearance" arises whether even wider tires can be mounted.
This is possible thanks to Cannondale's System Intergration components. Components such as BB30 bracket, Hollowgram cranksets, the Lefty, Outfront handlebar geometry and the above Ai drivetrain give Cannondale the possibility to design a bicycle how Cannondale would like it without compromises because they are suppliers of, for example, forks or cranksets.
Cannondale is a true carbon artist, we have known that for a long time. This has led to the Speed ​​Save technology. As with the F1 racing cars, the speed-save features have been developed in such a way that the bicycle rolls faster and not only makes it more comfortable. Because the swingarm bends more and keeps the wheel better on the surface, you have more grip and traction. Vibrations and shocks are also absorbed, making the ride more comfortable.
The Cannondale F-Si Carbon 2 2017 is further assembled with a nice mix of Shimano XTR / XT components which provides a direct and reliable powertrain. The 1x11 gears have a large range through the 11-46t XT cassette. At the front is a Cannondale Hollowgram SI BB30 crankset mounted with 32 teeth. As wheels there is chosen for the super light Cannondale Czero carbon wheelset which is tubeless ready. Magura MT Race 180 / 160mm hydraulic disc brakes are available as brakes. The F-si comes in two wheel sizes: If you need the Small frame size, you will get an FSI with 27.5 "wheels. In Medium, Large or Extra Large the bike comes with 29" wheels.
