Description

Just pop in for a few kilometers. Descend with more confidence from bike marathons to adventurous solo rides. The Giant Defy Advanced 2 helps you to the finish to the last meters. The Defy's frame features the proven endurance geometry and is hand-built from lightweight and smooth-running Advanced-grade composite. That is why the Defy offers speed, confidence and control. The rear frame triangle is equipped with ultra-thin, flattened standing rear forks to reduce the vibrations of the road surface, and the D-Fuse seat post also helps to filter out the unevenness. Disc brake technology gives you more control in all weather conditions. So no matter how far you drive, the Defy Advanced helps you to drive strong to the finish.

ADVANCED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY
High-quality raw carbon fibers are used to make specific composite material in Giant's own composite factory. These handmade frames are extremely light, stiff and yet comfortable and are built with the following construction method:

Monocoque construction:
the front frame triangle (lower tube, head tube, top tube and seat tube is joined together and connected to form one continuous whole.) The front half is then coupled to the upright and horizontal rear forks in a separate process.

Endurance Geometry
We read it all in the Giant leaflets, but what exactly does Endurance geometry mean? The goal is in any case to sit on the right, the further you are forward, the more tension there is on your lower back. Giant makes sure that your judge is sitting on the bike by shortening the top tube and making the head tube longer. As a result, your hands are closer to the body and the angle between legs and upper body increases. Eureka! Light at the end of the tunnel. The only thing you can still hurt now is in your legs of hard cycling!
