At the Giant TCR Advanced 1, the design team of Giant has once again taken a fresh look at the drawing board. The frame has, as we are used to from Giant, beautiful slender shapes and super fresh colors. The frame has also been made lighter, but without compromising on stiffness and efficiency. The Overdrive head tube system and the Megadrive down tube are designed for sharp steering behavior. The carbon seatpost is not only super aerodynamic, it also delivers extra flex, which provides the necessary driving comfort.
Advanced Composite:
High-quality T-700 carbon fibers are transformed into extremely lightweight, stiff and yielding carbon frames at Giant's own carbon factory. These are handmade frames that are very carefully taken care of. Giant uses the so-called Monocoque technology.
Monocoque construction:
The front frame triangle (lower tube, head tube, top tube and seat tube) is joined together and connected to form one continuous whole. The front half is then coupled to the upright and horizontal rear forks in a separate process.
Ridesense:
The frame is suitable for a wireless sensor fully integrated in the rear fork. The sensor transmits data about speed and cadence directly to any ANT + compatible cycling computer.
