The Scott Foil 20: a bike to go fast. The race geometry, the lightweight HMF carbon frame and a laundry list of high-quality components merge into a true racing cannon. Scott listened carefully to the rider's desire in the hunt for perfection. In previous years, the Foil was especially praised for the perfect conversion from power to speed, the precise handling characteristics, the low weight and the aerodynamic design. From this model year we can add another feature to the Scott Foil 20: comfort. The so-called "comfort zone" of Scott means more flex in the seat post and the front fork and thus also on worse roads more control. All in all, it sounds almost too good to be true. So be quick before Scott will realize that too!
Cockpit Integration
The completely newly developed handlebar from Syncros is a handlebar and stem in one. The steering wheel is entirely made of carbon and is particularly stiff and light (395 gr.) And forms the perfect transition between the cockpit and the frame.
Shimano Ultegra 6800 group
The latest Shimano Ultegra 6800 11-speed groupset! The latest technologies are now also available for the demanding cyclist. The new Ultegra builds on the success of the unanimously positively received Dura Ace 9000 group.
The extra 11th gear and numerous improvements together provide a truly overwhelming level of performance. Many innovations from the new Dura Ace group have found their way to the Shimano Ultegra 6800 group set. The shifter has a shorter stroke for easier shifting and the group has a newly designed front derailleur and rear derailleur with a slightly different cable lining and a completely new cable set. Also remarkable is the new four-armed crankset. According to Shimano, this optimizes the power transfer during pedaling and is stiffer.
